There are plenty of opportunities for adventure near our Louisville apartments. We’ve been indulging in all the great takeout offered up by Louisville restaurants and now it’s time to burn off some calories. Undoubtedly, one of the best options for keeping six feet apart while still staying active is a day on the slopes at Paoli Peaks. Here’s what you can discover from this great destination for skiing near Louisville.
A Day on the Paoli Peaks Slopes
Undeniably, the skill-level breakdown of the trails at Paoli Peaks allows for plenty of fun for everyone. The 15 all-natural trails consist of 25% beginner, 55% intermediate, and 20% advanced terrain.
Off-slope, visitors will find equipment rentals, a pro shop, and a cafeteria-style restaurant with a large outdoor deck for responsible, socially distanced outdoor dining.
Ski and Ride School
World-class ski and board instructors, prepared to offer safe and fun instruction, are available for all skill levels. Whether it’s your first time making turns or you’re a pro looking to sharpen your skills, Paoli Peak’s Ski and Ride School will help you take your skiing and riding to the next level. All lessons require 48-hour notice and guarantee a class size of no more than six participants.
Arctic Blast Tubing Park
Those not interested in skiing or boarding can get an adrenaline fix at Paoli Peak’s tubing hill. Ten 700-foot long tubing lanes provide hours of fun. Luckily, in between downhill shoots, an on-ground surface-carpet effortlessly transports participants back up to the top.
